Natasha Jovan (Scotton) is a Singer and Songwriter based in Philadelphia. She Graduated from Hampton University with her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (early and elementary edu). She used her music and love of art to enhance her classroom experiences as a teacher. 

In 2013, Natasha opened an in-home daycare called Queens & Kings: School of Art and Holistic Learning. In her daycare she put her focus on literacy, holistic wellness, plant-based eating, art and music, as well as emotional development. She loved teaching her students and son. 

In 2017, she was happy to see all of her students leave her program to go to Kindergarten programs; she successfully ran the program to its completion. 

She now teachers her 3 children from home and is an advocate for homeschooling. Natasha Jovan is also a Co-Director for Aspiring Young Artists (AYA) music program, a singer and performer for City Love, Owner of Liberated Akashic, as well as a solo artist working on her own projects. 

Her first album #Loveistrending is now on all streaming platforms, The Tears of a Phoenix is now available for purchase or download (on the site). 

Natasha Jovan is a descendant of the Lumbee tribe from North Carolina. She loves to honor all indigenous people as well as all Earth's inhabitants, With a huge emphasis on love, light, and liberation; Natasha encourages education and holistic wellness for all. 

As the granddaughter of Bishop Richard Franklin Norris of the AME church, she likes to highlight faith and goodness in her lyrics and honor God with her heart and work. 

Natasha's diverse multicultural and multiracial family has taught her to find family in all people and see the divinity in all cultures and religious groups. She is a supporter of women, children, men, and uses her platform to advocate for Unborn Life, animals, racial justice and Bodily Autonomy. 

It is her pleasure to create art and spread love.
